August 31, 2010 - April Farmer Racing Set to Return to Eldora Speedway!

After taking a couple of months off from racing competition, the April Farmer Racing team will return to Dirt Late Model action on September 10-11 at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio! The annual running of the 'World 100' will take place at the "Big E" and a $43,000 top prize will be up for grabs. On Friday night, September 10, two rounds of single lap qualifying will be held at the 1/2-mile complex. Heat races, consolation events, and the 100-lap 'World 100' will then be on tap on Saturday evening, September 11. July 5, 2010 - Farmer in Action in Wartburg/Tazewell Doubleheader...

April Farmer and her #14 Dirt Late Model team entered a pair of $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series events over the July 2-3 weekend in their home state of Tennessee. Unfortunately, April was unable to transfer into both $10,000 to win A-Mains at the Wartburg Speedway in Wartburg, Tennessee on Friday and the Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee on Saturday. She finished seventh in her heat race and twelfth in her B-Main on Friday night at Wartburg, while she wound up eighth in both her heat race and the B-Main on Saturday evening at Tazewell. June 15-26, 2010 - WOOLMS Great Northern Tour Results

JUNE 26, 2010 --- The 'Great Northern Tour' wrapped up for the #14 team tonight at the storied Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania! April Farmer finished sixth in her stacked heat race and ninth in her B-Main. Unfortunately, she was not able to transfer into the $30,000 to win 'Firecracker 100,' which was taped by the cameras of the SPEED Channel. However, April did compete in the $3,000 to win 'Uncle Sam 30' for non-qualifiers and finished twelfth in the final rundown. [complete story]

JUNE 25, 2010 --- Night two of the 'Firecracker 100' weekend took place tonight at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania and another $6,000 winner's check was on the line. April Farmer timed in forty-ninth fastest in WOOLMS qualifying and later ran sixth in both her heat race and her B-Main. Unfortunately, she was not able to transfer into the 30-lap main event, which was won by Tim McCreadie. [complete story]

JUNE 24, 2010 --- The WOOLMS 'Great Northern Tour' soldiered on tonight with the first night of the 4th Annual 'Firecracker 100' program at the storied Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. April Farmer unfortunately could not transfer into the $6,000 to win main event after qualifying fifty-first fastest and finishing ninth in her heat race and twelfth in her B-Main. Another $6,000 top prize will be up for grabs tomorrow in night two of the 'Firecracker 100' weekend. [complete story]

JUNE 22, 2010 --- Night five of the 'Great Northern Tour' with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, which was scheduled for tonight at the Brewerton Speedway in Brewerton, New York, has been rained-out. The $10,000 to win, one-day show has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 24. Next up for the April Farmer Racing team will be the three-day 'Firecracker 100' extravaganza at the Lernerville (PA) Speedway from June 24-26!

JUNE 20, 2010 --- Next up for the April Farmer Racing team was a trip to the Cornwall Motor Speedway in Cornwall, Ontario tonight for another $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdown. April Farmer qualified nineteenth fastest and later finished sixth in her heat race. After starting sixteenth on the grid in the 50-lap A-Main, April had a competitive car and wound up seventeenth in the final rundown. [complete story]

JUNE 19, 2010 --- Round three of the WOOLMS 'Great Northern Tour,' scheduled for tonight at the Autodrome Drummond in Drummondville, Quebec, was washed out by Mother Nature. The $10,000 to win program has been rescheduled for Monday, August 23. Next up for the #14 team will be a trip to the Cornwall Motor Speedway on Sunday evening, June 20.

JUNE 17, 2010 --- The April Farmer Racing team crossed the border into Canada to compete in round two of the 'Great Northern Tour' tonight at the Merrittville Speedway in Thorold, Ontario. April suffered problems during preliminary action at Merrittville and was forced to take use of a WOOLMS provisional to gain access into the $10,000 to win feature event. After rolling off twenty-third on the grid in the 50-lapper, the Livingston, Tennessee driver advanced seven spots en route to another sixteenth place finish. [complete story]

JUNE 15, 2010 --- April Farmer and her #14 Dirt Late Model team kicked off the World of Outlaws Late Model Series 'Great Northern Tour' tonight at the Can-Am Motorsports Park in LaFargeville, New York. April timed in thirteenth fastest in WOOLMS qualifying and later finished eighth in her competitive heat race. Following a strong third place effort in the B-Main, April drove her #14 Rocket racecar to a sixteenth place performance in the $10,000 to win main event. [complete story]

 
June 13, 2010 - #14 Team Heads to New York and Canada for Five Race WOOLMS Swing!

After over a month away from the racetrack, the April Farmer Racing team will travel to New York and Canada from June 15-22 for five World of Outlaws Late Model Series programs. Each of the five stops will be headlined by $10,000 to win feature events. The swing for April Farmer and her #14 team will start this Tuesday, June 15 at the Can-Am (NY) Motorsports Park and will conclude the following Tuesday, June 22 at the Brewerton (NY) Speedway. In between, April will make three visits to Canadian ovals, as she will be in action at the Merrittville Speedway (June 17), Autodrome Drummond (June 19), and Cornwall Motor Speedway (June 20). May 10, 2010 - April Farmer Racing Busy Last Weekend at Waycross!

April Farmer and her #14 Dirt Late Model team ventured south to the Waycross Motor Speedway in Waycross, Georgia over the May 7-8 weekend. The inaugural running of the 'Battle of the Swamp' took place at the newly-refurbished 1/2-mile speedplant and a $10,000 top prize was up for grabs. April suffered motor problems during heat race action on Friday night, but had a good car when the 50-lap feature event rolled around on Saturday evening.

She was running well when she unfortunately suffered a flat tire and was forced to the pit area for new rubber. April's return to the track was short-lived; however, as she later hooked a rut and got her fingers caught in the steering wheel. The Livingston, Tennessee native decided to call it quits after her bout with the rut and settled for a fifteenth place finish in the 'Battle of the Swamp.'
